Hello! Thank you for stopping by, I really appreciate it ^_^

My name is Mikail Alam, (but you can call me Mik). I am a Pakistani‑American 1st generation student raised in Sugar Land, Texas. As a kid, my favorite hobby was to draw my favorite cartoon characters on Microsoft Paint, and could do so for hours. Today, I am now designing products and making accessible user interfaces.

I am UX/UI Designer, Product Designer, UX Researcher, and so much more! I am currently pursuing my BS in Human‑Centered Computing at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and plan on graduating by the end of this year in December 2026.

I love what I do, what I’m studying, and I am so grateful to be doing what I am doing now, I could literally talk about my major for hours, and can’t describe how passionate I am about the world of UX Research and UX/UI Design.

If I am not prototyping in Figma, or working on your next big project, you can find me baking sweet treats in my kitchen, dancing with my crew in the dance studio, or playing with my adorable pet cat Rumi :)
